HAC is an online tool that students and parents can use to find up-to-date information about student attendance, grades, assignments, and class schedules. The purpose of the HAC is to help students, parents, and teachers make informed decisions about school attendance. In order to view the hac yisd, you must have a current HAC account. To create an account, go to the HAC site. You will need your student ID and password from a public or private school (use complete addresses), or a current email for your online school if you have one.

The HAC is a great tool for you to use to find out about your child’s school. If you are concerned about your child’s attendance and need to know what time the school first opens, what days he/she is absent, and when (if ever) he/she arrives at school, use the HAC. You can also use it if you want to see every assignment (including any written tests) your child has received in the previous semester.
How does it work?
The HAC login information is automatically sent to the email address you provide when you create your account. Once logged in, click on “My Students” (found on the far left side of the page), then enter your student’s name, either full or partial. The site will show a list of current assignments, including assignment descriptions and due dates. You can also find out what day of the week a test is scheduled for by clicking on “Data & Results,” then “View Results.” In this section of the site, you can see what subject tests are being given and when. You can also see assigned grades for each semester and cumulative GPA for every school year you have been in high school.

The HAC is the best tool to find out information about your child’s school. It is available year-round, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The HAC gives you access to current information and can help you prevent your child from falling behind in his or her courses. If you care about your child’s education, use the HAC regularly.
1. Irregular attendance:
All public schools must notify parents the first day their child does not attend class for 7 consecutive days. Public schools also must notify parents for: 1) school expulsion if attendance is more than 15 consecutive days; 2) suspension of up to five class periods as determined by school administrators; and 3) extended absence.
2. Suspension and expulsion:
School districts must notify parents of the student’s suspension or expulsion within 24 hours, if transportation is provided by the school district. A student expelled for ten or fewer class periods must receive a new evaluation for special education services by a county special education director, or his designee. A student expelled for 11 or more class periods must be evaluated by a mental health professional.
3. Absence note:
A parent or guardian may complete an administrative form to excuse his/her child’s absence at any time during the semester. The principal will accept this form in lieu of an excuse note from the parent or guardian.
